How We Create Our Content

Every article and tool guide on GratGPT begins with a real question people actually ask — "how do I create a password I can remember?", "what does my BMI number actually mean?", "how does loan amortization work?" We start from the practical need, then research the topic using primary sources: official standards bodies (such as NIST for password guidance), peer-reviewed references, government health and financial resources, and established mathematical formulas.

Drafts are written and edited by the GratiLabs editorial team. We use software tools to assist with research, drafting, and formatting, but every published piece is read, fact-checked, and edited by a human before it goes live. We do not publish unreviewed, auto-generated text. If a piece cannot meet our standard for accuracy and genuine usefulness, we do not publish it.

Accuracy & Review

Factual claims are checked against reputable sources at the time of writing. Formulas used in our calculators are verified against authoritative references and tested with known inputs and expected outputs before release.

For any topic involving health (such as our BMI Calculator) or money (such as our Loan and Retirement Calculators), we include clear disclaimers. Our outputs are informational estimates for general education — they are not medical, financial, legal, or tax advice, and we always encourage readers to consult a qualified professional before making important decisions.

How Our Tools Are Built & Verified

Every GratGPT tool is built and maintained in-house. Each calculator implements a documented, standard formula — for example, BMI uses the World Health Organization definition, and loan figures use the standard amortization formula. Before a tool is published we test it against worked examples with known correct answers to confirm the results match.

All tools run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, transmit, or store the values you enter. When we become aware of an edge case or error, we fix it and re-test. If you spot a result that looks wrong, please tell us — see corrections below.

We keep our content current. Guidance and standards change over time, so we review and update articles and tools periodically to reflect best practices.
